One 2 One Mentoring
Mentors within the programme will work both on a one-to-one basis and within a team setting with participants providing expert advice. Mentors will be sourced specifically for each participant to ensure that an appropriate match is made between mentor and participant.
The role of the mentor will be to challenge and support participating entrepreneurs to develop sustainable and competitive businesses. The mentor will maintain a detailed working knowledge of the participant’s business position and product or service and will advise on other sources of specialist support.
A key role of the mentor is to provide independent, professional one to one business advice on a confidential basis to participants.
One 2 One specialist business development
A unique component of the TRANSFORM Ideas into Businesses Programme is the availability of a business development specialist. Their role is to work with you (on a one 2 one confidential basis) in a practical way to assist you develop your ambitious idea into a robust business plan.
In addition to this business development specialist, participants may wish to access specialist know how customised to their business needs. Should there be a cost to access such know how, the Programme Director will consider such requests for possible support. |

| Participants locating in Northern Ireland or the 6 border counties of the Republic of Ireland may apply for funding from Invest Northern Ireland or
Enterprise Ireland if they are leaving full-time employment and committed to developing an export focused business idea. |

| Each incubation centre provides access to a range of facilities including telephone, broadband, meeting & dining rooms, and office facilities like photocopier, fax, etc. |

| A proven way of enhancing your learning is to see how others are performing. During 2008 Transform participants will have the opportunity to visit an International Market to develop a better understanding of their proposed market. Visit organisation, travel, accommodation and some subsistence costs will be paid for by the programme. |
