Participation in an International Market visit
A proven way of enhancing your learning is to see how others are performing. During 2008 Transform participants will have the opportunity to visit an International Market to develop a better understanding of their proposed market. Visit organisation, travel, accommodation and some subsistence costs will be paid for by the programme.
Depending on the profile of programme participants, visits may take place on a sectoral basis.
Participation at a customised seed capital / potential investor event
During 2008 Transform participants should have developed a robust plan for their business. Some participants may have even achieved some sales.
However to accelerate growth many participants are likely to seek investors.
An important component of the TRANSFORM Ideas into Businesses Programme will be to organise a customised event to introduce participants to potential investors.
Access to local & global contacts & networks
TRANSFORM participants will be continuously supported with details (& introductions if relevant / possible ) of potential contacts and networks – both on the island and globally.
Getting access to that piece of information or advice may be a critical element in propelling your embryonic business to the next level.
We want to assist you to get there.
Participation at 4 cross border networking residentials
Space for up to 40 ambitious entrepreneurs is available on the TRANSFORM Ideas into Businesses Programme. It is planned that on four occasions, all participants will be invited to network together to share ideas, experiences and contacts. Similar programmes completed in the Republic of Ireland have proven the value of such networking.
These residentials will be structured around learning opportunities which will include keynote speeches by leading entrepreneurs.
Networking organisation, accommodation and meal costs are paid for by the Programme.
Access to a Programme Director who will help trouble shoot problems for you
You will have access on a continuous basis to a Programme Director who will help trouble shoot issues as they emerge for you.
Participants with the appetite and the potential to grow rapidly will have an executive from Invest NI or Enterprise Ireland appointed to fast track potential agency support. |
