The Transform – Ideas Into Businesses Programme is a one year full-time business incubation programme which is funded by the EU Programme for Peace and Reconciliation and run by Enterprise Ireland and Invest Northern Ireland. It is designed to provide ambitious entrepreneurs, who have an idea for an export focused business, with the necessary business skills, expertise, contacts, networks and facilities to establish successful businesses. It will allow you the time and space to develop your business plan and get your business up and running.

There is no fee to participate on the Programme.
The main cost to you will be the time & energy you are prepared to put into transforming your idea into a sustainable export focused business.
Participants will be able to benefit from a comprehensive range of support including
- Potential financial support of up to £26,000 / €38,000 towards your first year’s salary
- High quality enterprise development training
- Incubation facilities including a hot desk
- Being part of an elite group of up to 40 like minded entrepreneurs
- Provision of a personal Mentor
- Provision of a business development specialist/consultant who will help develop a robust business plan for your proposed business (this can include accessing specialist expertise – on the island or globally - relevant to your business idea to enable you to develop your plan)
- Participation in an international market visit
- Access to potential investors including business angels and venture capitalists
- Access to both local & global contacts & networks
- Participation at cross border networking events
- Access to the Transform Programme Director who will help trouble shoot problems as they arise
Eligible participants will be required to locate their business in Northern Ireland or the six border counties of the Republic of Ireland.
Participants with the appetite and the potential to grow rapidly will have an executive from Invest NI or Enterprise Ireland appointed to fast track potential agency support.
